Casiotone for the Painfully Alone - White Corolla

Owen Ashworth, aka CFTPA, is a one man operation out of Chicago that describes his music as "a curious mix of austere character studies and playful electronic programming." At first that sounded like the type of trite garbage I would write here, but then I realized, after listening a bit more, that’s a pretty good assessment. Now I’m a little tempted to take off the quotation marks and claim it as my own, but I’m too lazy to pretend I know what I’m talking about. Check out the new album, Advance Base Battery Life.

I love how the ad that pops on this is for Corollas. Man, technology is good.

I've always liked his cover of Graceland by Paul Simon.
